A UX project demonstrating ability to conduct meaningful user research and design experiences with considered context.


Overview     
A course leader at RMIT provided a brief which stated that a UX concept proposal was required to address ‘Citizen Power’. Citizen Power refers to the collective power and influence that citizens hold in shaping and directing society. This project presents a UX design concept proposal for an identified demographic group.

    To raise the confidence of work skill capabilities in the youth as they transition into full time work.

    Pain-points to target...

    • Lacking clear direction moving into their desired profession.

    • Poor communication between students and industry professionals.

    • Anxiety surrounding the relevance of their studies once attempting to move into the professional industry.

    • Finding a suitable study/life balance.

    • Magnitude of study is consuming and time for career investigation is overwhelmed by a desire to use social media.
            

    Solution


    ProPoint is an online platform that strives to raise student’s confidence in their work skill capabilities through providing them with guidance of industry professionals and sharing their transition into professionalism with peers.
